Deprecation of Existing API Secrets for the Orders API

Overview/Explanation:
SAS offers customers the ability to download resources associated with their purchase order programmatically via the SAS Viya Orders API.
We have updated the secret management system used to authenticate requests to this API. You are receiving this notice because your email address is associated with an existing API secret affected by this change.
If you use SAS Viya Copilot, you must update your Orders API secrets by April 20. Otherwise, Copilot will stop functioning in your environment once existing secrets are no longer accepted.
What is changing:
- Existing (pre refresh) API secrets will continue to work only until April 20.
- After April 20, these secrets will be rejected, and API calls will fail.
- Only created secrets from the updated system will be accepted by the Orders API.
Impact on SAS Viya Copilot
The SAS Viya Copilot relies on Orders API secrets for activation, renewal and continued entitlement validation. Existing (pre refresh) secrets will be rejected after April 20, preventing Copilot from operating until updated secrets are in place.
Required actions:
For SAS Viya Copilot customers
1. Create new API secrets by April 20 using SAS Copilot Secret Setup
2. Update the SAS Viya platform to version 2026.04 or later, or apply the latest patch to your current version
Important: SAS Viya Copilot will not function with newly created secrets unless your Viya environment is updated or patched.
